Inconsitent Snapshot Copy with Lotus Domino; Snap_Creator_Community_Release_3.5.0-Win64.exe and Snap Drive 6.2.1.5029

by on ‎2011-12-28 10:30 PM

Dear all,

Creating a snapshot with only snap drive creates a consistent (LUN-) snapshot copy. When snap creator framework (Domino) creates a snapshot (everything installed on the same machine, for testing) the snapshot is always inconsistent. Has anybody some experience in this environment or a idea whats wrong?

Thomas,

Sorry for the delay in response - most of us are just getting back to the office after the holidays.

Would you mind providing some more information around this?

What method are you using to determine that the snapshot is inconsistent?  Are you receiving errors, running a CLI command, etc?

When you are using Snap Creator do you have Snap Creator configured to use SnapDrive?

Thanks for the info!

John

I have seen similar issues with SnapManager for SQL, but not always. Normally it works as expected and then occaisionally there will be one which is inconsistent.
