Data Backup and Recovery
Hi All,
I'm trying to set up Snap Manager for Exchange 2010 and I'm having a problem running the configuration wizard.
SME v6 and SD v6.2 on Windows 2008R2
The Operations Manager 4.0 server is running on RHEL 5.4.
When I configured Snapdrive I provided the Linux root login and password, but it looks like SME is attempting to authenticate to OM with its windows service account.
How can I give the windows service account login access to OM running on Linux? Do I need to set up LDAP?
Why does it not use the Linux login and password I provided to Snapdrive?
Snapdrive is running under a different service account than Snapmanager, could this be part of the issue?

I got it. Even though LDAP is not set up, I just added DOMAN\Username to the users list in OM and it worked.
Where do you find the users list in OM?
You can find the users list if you use this command on Windows command line:
C:\> dfm user list -l
