I was wondering if anyone has had experience with this and can provide some insight. We want to use the Clone Wizard in SnapManager for SQL to clone some production databases and present them to the dev environment. When running the wizard, we get the error "Restore operation failed. Details: Error Code: 0x800706BA The RPC server is unavailable". After consulting with our network team, they indicated that the Clone Wizard makes an RPC call to the dev servers, which is allowed on our network, but then an RPC call is made back to production which is not allowed. They don't want to allow RPC as it requires opening every port. I'm assuming we're not the first ones to encounter this issue. Has anyone else encountered this and if so, what was the resolution?
