SMSQL and Unified Manager 5 issue

I have a customer who is saving weekly backups of SMSQL using OCUM 5 Protection Manager.

They had an issue whereby the backups stopped working and have now lost the baseline snapshot so cannot update the snapvault.

 

They cannot delete the existing backups

 

When they try and reconfigure this in SMSQL they cannot get it to work as the dataset is already in use and cannot be chanhed in SMSQL

 

How can they retain the existing backups and start a new snapvault relationship given this limitiation using OCUM and Protection Manager?
