Hi,

Following combination is listed as being supported:

- Microsoft Windows 2000 Server (SP4) or AdvServer (SP4)

- SnapDrive 4.2.1 for Windows (32-bit, x86)
- SnapManager 2.1.2 for SQL Server (32-bit, x86)

So you are looking at pretty old products in the NetApp stack.

Please see the attached output from the Interoperability Matrix Tool on field portal -

Also, check out the SMSQL 5.01 release notes and admin guide (attached)

Please not that SMSQL 5.1 was just released as well and has some caveats regarding SQL 2000.

Tom

Tom,

I believe the culprit is Windows 2000, not the SQL  2000 - this is why interop matrix doesn't show anything beyond SMSQL 2.1.2 as being  supported.

Radek,

No dispute here - just trying to educate the original questioner on how to fish 🙂

Thanks,

Tom

Good evening
Thank you for your answers I'll test the version 2.1.2 of SnapManager for SQL. It is available now. By cons I need SnapDrive 4.2.1 which is no longer available now. Where can I download it? This is what I understood with the compatibility matrix

Near the bottom of the download software page, http://now.netapp.com/NOW/cgi-bin/software, you need to select "SnapDrive 3.x or above for Windows" from the drop down list next to "To access a specific" field.

You then type in 4.2.1 for the version and click the Go! button.

You can also click on this link as well:  http://now.netapp.com/NOW/download/software/snapdrive_win/4.2.1/

Thanks,
Mark
