Re: Welcome to the New Community

Terri,

New version looks better and faster, however I don't see my Ask a question button. Do I need to open a ticket to support ?

Thanks!

Re: Welcome to the New Community

@trentino123  I am sorry, I don't understand where you are referring to with "my Ask a Question" button, can you be more specific? In all areas where new discussions can be created and you are logged in, there is a button that says "New Message" For example in http://community.netapp.com/t5/FAS-and-V-Series-Storage-Systems-Discussions/bd-p/fas-and-v-series-storage-systems-discussions

Let us know if we can help you with anything else.

Re: Welcome to the New Community

Allison,

You are correct as the New Message link is appearing in a blank page ( equal in size to the one presenting information ) to the right of the screen.

Could be the new design or the fact I am using IE10.

Thanks!

Love the new interface, going to take some time to get used to though Smiley Happy

@dburklan Thanks! We appreciate the feedback.

Re: Welcome to the New Community

The simulator forum seems to be missing everything since November of 2013.

Re: Welcome to the New Community

This will take getting some getting use to. How do I post new questions to the community? Can't seem to find my way around this new page.

Re: Welcome to the New Community

Hi @_NETAPPUSER

To post a new thread, go to any area with "Discussions" such as http://community.netapp.com/t5/Data-ONTAP-Discussions/bd-p/data-ontap-discussions in the name and you should see "New Message" button on the right side when logged in.

It looks like you have figured out how to reply Smiley Happy

Re: Welcome to the New Community

Hi, I took me a while to notice the "old" communities are still around at https://private-communities.netapp.com/welcome So what's the ultimate goal - keep both? Or create a more restricted subspace here and move everything from the other place? Kind regards, Radek
