A NetApp Canada First. Two-time Microsoft Canada IMPACT Awards Finalist

By Lucie Jacques, Field Alliance Manager, NetApp Canada

Can you say Oscar? Microsoft Canada is taking a tip from the Academy Awards and waiting to hand out their coveted IMPACT awards honoring Canadian Microsoft Partners on Sunday evening, July 13th at a gala reception at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Washington, DC.

This year, the competition was fierce as only 27 finalists out of hundreds of eligible partners made the cut. For NetApp Canada, it is the first time we have made it as a finalist on this list. We are thrilled and credit the hard work of our joint alliance team with NetApp, Cisco and Microsoft as well as the commitment of senior executives across all three companies who stood behind the new initiatives we successfully spear-headed. In particular Jeff Goldstein, Rick Brown, Kim Vokey and Amanda Anderson were critical NetApp players leading the charge around new ways of working together. Thumbs up for their support and right-brain thinking!

We have been recognized in two categories – Infrastructure Innovation and Winning Together. Our submissions show-cased our success with FlexPod – especially where our alliance programs influenced buying behaviours and tipped the scales against our competition. We landed big deals and new logos as a result. We were also able to forge much deeper field relationships across the three organizations, building stronger ties and levels of trust at each and every engagement.

So roll out the red carpet, rent your tux and slip into a designer gown. Sunday, July 13th is fast approaching and NetApp Canada is delighted to be considered one of the top solution providers by Microsoft. No matter the outcome that evening, we’ll be “putting on the Ritz” in Washington, DC and celebrating a fantastic year with our Microsoft family.
