Dedupe and Windows

I've currently got a cifs volume created which i'm seeing good space savings on thanks to dedupe.

We are considering using dedupe for our exchange 2010 databases.  Confused how the savings are seen in windows e.g. If I create a volume and create a lun using all the space.  Once I assign the lun to a windows host, where are the space savings seen?

All your answers line in the following doc which you can get from the now site. It discusses Aggr Vol and Lun layout as well as capacity planning. They also recon you could get up 30% space saving depending on the message profiles.
