FTP ON NETAPP FILER (( AUTH )

Hi!!! Good Morning ( in Brazil =D )

I need transform my netapp filer in a FTP SERVER.

I enabled ftpd, But i need help in authentication !!!!

Is there a possiblity use my credecials in Active Directory to login into my FTP server on netapp filer ???

Yes, it is possible. You may have issues with home directories though; see if these articles help:

You might want to use sftp which was recently added or ftp over ssl for better security...most our customers still use a front-end more secure ftp server instead of native in ONTAP although nice now that we have secure ftp.
