Hello guys,

I set this in my vfiler to get quota 2G/user in quotas file

*      user@/vol/FI03_2/Users 2g - - - -

This apply a 2G quota for all user and not per user.

Someone can help me please?

Hi Pascal

You are correct, with this quota setting every user can write max 2G into the qtree Users.

Now, if each user has a subdirectory below this qtree where only he/she has write access, then by definition you have accomplished what you wanted. Beware, the users quota checks the file ownership to calculate the space used.

hi,

you can manage some rules over the filerview.

there you can change your quotas by edit rules. for groups / users you can make some exception.
