Hi All,

i have problem when try to add storage controller in oncommand core.

Error: Can't contact new host 10.224.168.19 with SNMP or host agent protocol.
For host agents, make sure that host agent is installed and running on the
host. For vFilers, please add the vFiler's hosting physical storage system.
For other hosts, make sure SNMP is enabled on the host.
Run 'dfm host diag 10.224.168.19' to troubleshoot

Can anyone know how to resolve this?

Thanks and Regards

Is there any firewall port b/w the OnCommand server and the storage controllers ?

It seems the SNMP port is blocked b/w the 2 and hence there is no connectivity.

SNMP is started by default in the NetApp controller. However, you should check the SNMP version and if your SNMP_V3 the correct credential.

Re-generate the SSL keys using the command "secureadmin ssl setup", try it - it will work out.
