SnapVault OSSV Windows Mount Point Volume

[ Edited ]

I am trying to create a SnapVault to a mount point on a Windows 2003 server.

snapvault start -S SERVERNAME:'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\Data\Logs' NETAPP:/vol/backup/SERVERNAME_MSSQL_LOGS

snapvault: destination transfer from SERVERNAME:C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\Data\Logs to /vol/backup/SERVERNAME_MSSQL_LOGS : the shource could not execute the update

On the server, the event log has an entry from SnapVault:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\Data\Logs

NETAPP:/vol/backup/SERVERNAME_MSSQL_LOGS C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\Data\Logs is a reparse point

Re: SnapVault OSSV Windows Mount Point Volume

OSSV only supports physical drives. So you could try assigning a drive letter to the Mount point volume and use that drive just to backup?
