Here we are...
We have a fas2050 with vmwares on it.
When i try to Snapshot this appears:

Snapshot operation failed: No space left on device.
BUT

Works great.

My first guess is that vol2 contains LUNs with reserved space and that there is not enough space in the volume to create a new snapshot and still keep the reserved space.

I suggest opening a case with Netapp on this.
