We are able to login  through Putty.

Have you recently installed/upgraded Data ONTAP on these filers ?

Please share your "version -b" output.

java is giving errors about date and calendar, maybe the time isnt in sync?

Both the filers are in cluster and it got rebooted a month ago.. Is tat the reason for this issue???
