What's the difference in features between ontap 8.0.1 and 8.0.2.  Is there a doc or netapp site that i can compare the two.  Thanks.

0.1 🙂 I couldn't resist. The release notes for 8.0.2 will list changes and new commands. I always check the release notes which are a PDF and HTML link on the download page and also under the documentation for each release on the now site. I think 3tb drives and bug fixes were some of the differences in these releases

Hello Daniel,

One of the key differences are that I know of is Supported with compression starting with Data ONTAP® 8.0.2

Not entirely sure about that, but I seem to recall the DS14mk2 wont work with 8.0.2 or it may be a firmware upgrade. Maybe someone can clarify or confirm.

With 8.1 esh2 isn't supported. But mk2 with esh4 is.
