Re: reboot require to enable FCP port after hba card install?

Hi,

Is the new adapter listed in fcp show adapter output?

If the answer is yes, then you should be able to enable it by fcp config [adapter] up command.

If it is not listed, then you have to change adapter mode from initiator to target (which requires reboot).

Radek

Re: reboot require to enable FCP port after hba card install?

PCI cards are fixed mode - either target or initiator. There is no way to configure it.
