Comprehensive monitoring of NetApp Storage Systems from within SCOM environments

Overview:

The NetApp E-Series Storage Array Management Pack for Operations Manager 2.1 provides integrated monitoring of E-Series arrays in Microsoft® System Center Operation Manager® (SCOM) environments. It allows monitoring of storage array health from the System Center console. It displays storage array based critical alerts and associated recovery steps. It also displays performance warnings for monitored volumes when configured thresholds are exceeded.

  • Supports System Center Operations Manager 2012, 2012 SP1 and 2012R2.
  • Supports NetApp E-Series storage including EF-540/EF-550 Flash Arrays.
  • Displays critical alerts with detail description of recovery steps.
  • Integrated performance monitoring for volume for IOPs, Throughput and Latency.
  • Includes discovery tool to discover and add arrays to be monitored.
  • Includes PowerShell tool/script to export performance data that can be used for deriving guidance for setting performance monitoring threshold levels.
