Quick question I think... I have a FAS2020 that I am retiring. I have a CIFS SVM created on the FAS2552 that is replacing it, with a new netbios name.
Once I copy all of the data over to the FAS2552, can anyone see any issue with changing the CIFS "Filer name" of the 2020 to something new (like "OldFiler" or something) and then changing the CIFS name of the SVM on the 2552 to the 2020's original name?
Just trying to avoid changing all sorts of drive mapping and hard coded item paths if I don't have to.
