Migrate data from IBM-DS4800 to NetAPP-6210

I was wondering if there are any threads or posts that provide information on what all involves in migrating data from an IBM DS4800 to NetAPP-6210.

Currently our pSeries environment is attached to IBM DS4800, in few months we plan on migrating to a colocation where the storage is NetAPP-6210 and I need to come up with a plan on migrating the data from IBM DS4800 to the NetAPP. If anyone can provide some information on how to do this, that would be great.

Thanks.

Is this an AIX system with LUNs?

You will want to look at the migratepv command to move your data from your DS to the FAS.

Also, make sure you look into the NetApp host utilities for setting up native multipathing, correctly setting the number of command elements on your adapter, and the queue length on your adapter.
