fcp start: Partner WWNN must match local WWNN to start FCP

When i try to start FCP service get a following error message...

MC-Netapp-A> fcp start

fcp start: Partner WWNN must match local WWNN to start FCP

I checked Partner but match with local nodename...

MC-Netapp-A> cf partner

MC-Netapp-B

MC-Netapp-A> fcp nodename

Fibre Channel nodename: 50:0a:09:80:88:e3:c6:01 (500a098088e3c601),

MC-Netapp-B> fcp nodename

Fibre Channel nodename: 50:0a:09:80:88:e3:c6:01 (500a098088e3c601)

MC-Netapp-A> version

NetApp Release 8.2.1RC1 7-Mode: Wed Nov 20 15:25:04 PST 2013

My storage is FAS3220... What is the problem? Any idea?

Re: fcp start: Partner WWNN must match local WWNN to start FCP

This is odd. Can you try changing WWNN on both nodes to a new value & see what happens then?

> priv set diag

> fcp set nodename 50:0a:09:80:88:e3:c6:02
