As we are entering the holiday season it is important that we go beyond our day-to-day responsibilities, and reach out to make a difference. Our holidays may be filled with family, gifts, and amazing food—but our service members experience a vastly different kind of holiday.
This November we have teamed up with the Red Cross in the inaugural Holiday Mail for Heroes Campaign to touch our service members here and abroad by sending cards to wherever they might be spending the holidays this year.
From November 1- November 30, NetApp and the Red Cross are staffing a table outside Bloomingdales and the American Girl store at the Tysons Corner Mall in Vienna, VA encouraging people to stop by and sign a card to be mailed to our military.
Our mission is to enlist shoppers to sign a total of 10,000 holiday cards within a 30 day span.

We are excited about this mission and the chance to partner with the American Red Cross, an organization that we admire and look forward to working with. We are fortunate to be able to team up for an amazing program.
A key to our success is how we help our customers. The Red Cross has given us this chance to understand our customer, give back, and extend our community outreach to our military, which is incredibly important to us here at NetApp. Our duty extends beyond providing data storage and data management to our customers. We need to extend our outreach and show that NetApp is with them home and abroad.
A BIG thanks to the Red Cross and Tysons Corner Mall to give us this opportunity to show our appreciation to those in uniform who allow us our freedom.
