Im sure this has been asked hundreds of times but can anyone offer a good trainging layout that i could follow for someone that is very new to storage and has just been made the admin of our new FAS 3270 7mode Netapp.
I took the 7-mode administrator course online and it really helped me get things going but i feel i am only scratching the surface of what our netapp can do for us and due to lack of knowledge i nervous about getting in there and playing.
Thank you for any guidance counseling that is offered.

To be honest with you, I think classroom-based, 'proper' training course (e.g. NCDA) would be the best choice.
You can find a lot of useful info on-line, but a good trainer can really help to get quickly one's head around storage / NetApp basics.

Here are some training options for Accelerated NCDA Boot Camp Data ONTAP 8.0 7-Mode
Hope this is helpful.

And here is a link to some additional NetApp ANCDA boot camps with a couple of options near you. If certification is not your immediate goal, then you can contact us to discuss individual training courses geared towards your immediate needs such as Data Protection, SAN Administration, etc. All good follow-ups to the D7ADM course.
