NetApp cmd

Hi, please tell me what are the output of those cmd, and for what purpose those cmd are used for?

Filer>cna

Filer>gdb

Filer>kt

Filer>log_fio

Filer>nm

Filer>sh

Filer>ttcp

Filer>xttcp

Filer>vtic

Re: NetApp cmd

Don't think all of those are OnTap commands, if any, a quick Google says they're mostly Unix / Linux commands.

Re: NetApp cmd

Those are all priv set diag commands.

CNA is for information on FCoE adapters

VTIC has to do with ALUA and FC multipathing, it is what allows multipathing failover to occur non-disruptively(my guess at least, given that stand alone systems without ALUA enable do not report vtic in igroup show -v).

The rest follow their Unix counterparts, and outside "cna show" and "vtic get_names" I have never used the others because diag commands are potentially dangerous.
