Non-disruptive NFS migration

Hi all,

IHAC wants to migrate the NFS data from old filer to new one, is there any way to do the NFS migration non-disruptively?

They have more than 200 NFS clients and almost no downtime.

Thanks,

Jeff Cai

7-Mode or C-Mode? Both filers part of the same cluster or not?

It's 7-mode to 7-mode now. But we are also interested in 7-mode to C-mode.

Thanks,

Jeff Cai

Hi Sahana,

This KB is for "it is required to migrate a volume from one aggregate to another within the same controller".

I do not think completely non-disruptive migration is possible here. Clients still need to remount from target filer.
