Hi Experts,

I have some issue to setup SMVI backup for VMs running on cDOT 8.2.1.  We are using same scripts for SMVI backup of VMs running on 7-Mode storage without any issue. We use snapvault to replicate primary data to secondary with the help of POST script (sv-smvi.cmd).  Following are my environment details..

VSC v4.2.1P1

vSphere 5.1

Cluster Data ONTAP 8.2.1

Below is the content of script (sv-smvi.cmd) details ...

c:\smvi\sv-smvi.exe -svuser XXXXXXX -svcryptpasswd YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY -verbose -report -reportdir c:\smvi\log -svschednames ZZZZ

Below are the error details of SMVI backup..

do you try to authenticate to the cluster or to the Storage Virtual Machine?

does the storage virtual machine have a management IP address?

is the httpd options setted correctly to permit remote login authetycation with the script?

Hi Guys,

This script is for running in 7-mode, it doesn't work in C-dot.
