With System Manager 3.1, you can create Infinite Volumes for clustered Data ONTAP 8.2.x to provide a large, scalable data container with a single namespace and a single mount point. In this demonstration, you will create and configure a Storage Virtual Machine (SVM) with Infinite volume, configure CIFS protocol on the SVM with Infinite volume, assign specific aggregates to the SVM, create an Infinite volume, and configure a CIFS share on the Infinite Volume.
