Hi,

We are sending SNMP traps from DFM to CA Spectrum but they are not getting correctly translated:

,"13-mar-2012 14:22:18 CET","BBKNETAPPMGR02.bbk.es","Unknown alert received from device BBKNETAPPMGR02.bbk.es of type Host_Device. Device Time 0+22:25:10. (Trap type 1.3.6.1.4.1.789.3.6.11092)

DFM MIB and Ontap MIB are installed on CA Spectrum.

Anyone has any experience with DFM + Spectrum?

Thanks!

Alfonso

Hi Alfonso,

We have a FAQ on how to with HP Open View but no experience with CA spectrum. See if this helps.

I can verify we have stumbled upon this as well.. We've been looking at it and found that while CA claims to recieve 1.3.6.1.4.1.789.3.6.X, all the mib entries are 1.3.6.1.4.1.789.3.0.X  (they are ending in 3.6.X instead of 3.0.X). Looking at the mib definition there is no 3.6, so I assume it would default to 3.0. I'll log a case against it. Let you know what is the case.
