Detailed file-level data from F-SRM?

I have a client that wants detailed file-level data for his Netapp NAS qtrees.

I have configured the volumes to be walked, which generated some summary data shjowing 1 million files for a particular volume.

Now the customer wants a report showing the name of each file along with the owner, path, size, and last access time.

The summary report for the volume shows 1 million files, yet when I create a custom report using the SRMfile catalog to include the above-mentioned fields, the report only shows 4300 files.

Is File-SRM not able to produce a report that shows file-level detail for each file discovered through a walk?

Hi CBURGESS129,

Yes File-SRM has its max limit of 100K files per path.

In case the number of files are larger, then split the path & perform two File-SRM walk.

Finally you look at consolidated report, which might be helpful to you.

Also can you past the output of "dfm option list | grep -i srm" ?

Refer to this link for more details.
