How to translate SNMP data to string which meaningful for OCI 7.3 ?

[ Edited ]

Hi ALL:

OCI 7.3 through SNMP can get storage data  , such as storage performance, LUN capacity and so on.

some data need to change string, otherwise customer don't  know the meaning.

for example, OCI 7.3 can get Huawei storage's model , but the data is 805 , customer don't know 805 represent Dorado5000 .

I need to translate 805 to Dorado5000.

Could you please give me some advices how to do it ?

Thanks,

Regards

Hey Tong,

Unfortunately, there is no way to construct a lookup table / secret decoder ring with the SNMP integration data source in OCI 7.3.0. There isn't a way to define key:value pairs in a way that if via SNMP the integration retrieves key X, report value Y instead

I will open a RFE for this feature
