New DFM server and SnapDrive Intergration

Taking the oppertunity with the realease of OnCommand to build a new DFM server.

DFM server will have a new name and IP address to bring it in to line with our new corp. standard.

Using  DFM backup and restore to move the databases etc.

The question I have is, I have at least 20 or so  Windows servers with snap drive installed with the  Operations Manager intergration turned on, which will now be pointing to the old DFM server.

Does any one know of a easier way to change this setting other than re-running the install ?

Thanks,

Richard

you should be able to run sdcli dfm_config set to change the configuration without running the installer

Thanks Rich,

Do you know of any way to do this from a central server or will I need to touch each indervidual server ?

Hi Richard,

You should be able to use the sdcli command and specify the -m switch to provide the IP Address | DNS Name of the machine you wish to execute the command on
