Documentation says

 


The independent plug-in installation packages are available for the following plug-ins:
• ONTAP 7-Mode
• Clustered Data ONTAP
• E-Series
• FlexPod
• MetroCluster in Clustered Data ONTAP

I do not see any plugin on this page.

Hi,

     Thanks for pointing the documentation issue that created confusion! All the plugins (device/solution based profiles) are packaged as part of the framework in the 1.0 release. If there are any sinificant updates to commands in existing profiles or if there are new profiles in the future, we would be posting them as separate installable plugins in the support site download page.

Thanks for clearing the confusion.  BTW please be careful with the instructions on how to run on Linux and Mac, I would explicitly say to run the following command ./”<install directory>”/NetApp/OneCollect/onecollect to launch the service and then go to the browser and type in https://127.0.0.1:8044/  to launch the app.  You can see it when you scroll back after you start the service but if you miss that it could take a while for a customer to figure it out.

Once I've collected data from hosts and storage clusters and upload to asup via OneCollect, where do I see assesment of this data?

You are suppose to be able to see it in smartsolve.netapp.com, the fourth box down has a legend for onecollect.

Customers do not have access to SmartSolve ... (At least I do not, has this changed?)

As far as I know, customers right now only have access to the RAW viewer that can be launch with the VIEW icon.  The tool is mainly for collecting comprehesive data in break/fix situations for support.  Not sure if it is meant as another analytical tool for customers.  Maybe one of the moderators has additional info.

Fair enough.  If OneCollect is to replace nsanity, will it also replace ICT?  I was hoping to use it to do an IMT check of our Windows/Linux boxes before an Ontap upgrade.
