Hi,

I have a hourly schedule in SMO at hh:30 and an hourly schedule in PM at the hour to protect the smo backup. Sometimes, the protection job fails with a ndmp error but it usualy works.

After the step of setting the snapshot name at source (ex: Set source snap to 'smo_smoasm_f_h_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx), the next step fails with

Source: netapp2:/SMO_DATA/-

Destination: netapp12:/SMO_DATA/dfpm_qtree_73_1938_1945

Bytes Transferred: Unkwown

Error Message:netapp12.de.lan:Couldn't authenticate NDMP connection to host 10.68.123.161

10.68.123.161 is the IP address of netapp12

Hi,

Which is the version of Protection Manager you have ?

You could take a look at this burt to see if it matches your issue and also whether you have the version that has the fix for it.
