We have filers conected to DFM server, but there is some communication problem with respect to SNMP V1 & V3 , everyone knows , we can do this from diognostic checks
But My question here , cant we set or trigger event from DFM stating SNMP no communication for the Problem Host if there no communication.
Do anybody has idea about this ? I have oncommand 5 in my environment.

You will get the following event, when snmp is not responding.
[root@vmlnx ~]# dfm eventtype list | grep -i snmp
host-snmp-not-responding Warning host.snmp_status
host-snmp-ok Normal host.snmp_status
