Server fault error when editing command definition in workflow

Hello,

I experience server fault error when editing command. That happend in specific workflow with similar command

There are nothing in log files.

Despit this error, edited command is successfully modified.

That probably happend when I tried to modify string representation in command definition

How can I troubleshot that?

Re: Server fault error when editing command definition in workflow

Hi,

Can you provide the following details like:

- WFA version

- Exact steps when the error occured. For example: Were you trying to edit the command by clicking on the header during workflow editing or were you doing it directly from the Command Add/Edit page.

- A screenshot and/or DAR file would also help.

Thanks,

Shailaja

Attached small video and the dar export workflow export.

Re: Server fault error when editing command definition in workflow

Thanks Francois for sharing the DAR and video file.

I was able to replicate it with the DAR file and also found out the generic scenario when it happens.

Scenario seems to be:

- Have a workflow which uses the same command more than once

- Open the command editor from the workflow workspace

- Save the command

- The error is thrown.

In your workflow, the command "ITS - Start Stop Service SQL" is used twice once for starting and another time for stopping the service.

We have filed a bug #858346 for the same.

Thanks,

Shailaja

Re: Server fault error when editing command definition in workflow

Shailaja,

Does it can lead to a workflow or command corruption?

François
