Troubleshooting the OnCommand Host Service help

Hi all,

I had 1.0 of the host installed and working fine, but thought I should move up to 1.1.  I followed the guide and uninstalled 1.0 prior to installing 1.1.

I thought I had it workingl, but every since I upgraded to 1.1, I have not had any vmware dataset backups run; they don't even fall into the jobs queue.  I realized today that I cannot perform restores either.  While looking at it today, the OnCommand Console reports that the Host service is down.  I know for certain that it did report up only a few days ago.  Looking on the server that the host service is installed on, I see that the "NetApp OnCommand Host service" service is started.  Where do I start in troubleshooting this mess?

Thanks

Michael

Fixed my problem.  I had to use this command "dfm hs unregister [ -f ] <host-service>" from the cmdline to remove the Host service.  Then I used the web gui to add it back and authorize it again.  I can now do restores from old backups and my nightly backups are running again.
