Unable to see Physical Disks ONTAP 8.0.1RC3 7-Mode

I've been trying to run a report on the physical system disks on a system running ONTAP 8.0.1RC3 7-Mode.  I created a local filer user account with Administrative priviledges for OM access.  I used that account for OM authentication.  When I look in physical disks or run a report on disk, nothing is reported.

Hello bmorse,

This is possible due to many reasons.

I would need some more information before we can conclude on it.

1. Are you able to see everything else like luns, volumes, qtrees, aggregates etc. Is it only the disks that are not seen?

2. Are the monitoring services running. Is there a case where monitoring been suspended due to lack of space?

3. Can you provide the output of the following commands

     a. dfm host diag <your filer name or ip or ID>

     b. dfm report view disks <your filer name or ip or ID>

4. 'dfm host user list'

5. dfm detail < user Id>

warm regards,

Abhishek

Is the size of the disk 2TB or more  ? If so you may be a victim of  bug 429510.

Refer the NOW public report below.

Do upgrade to 4.0.1D2 or latter if you wish to be in 4.0.1 codeline.Else 4.0D23 or latter if you wish to be in 4.0 codeline.

Though my personal suggestion is to upgrade to 4.0.1 codeline.
