make notification trap event stop

Hello,

about two weeks ago, I started getting thousands of DFM events a day like this from all my filers:

Notification Trap Received on filerx

Event Notification Trap Received

Source

Information

About alfFileSaved: The internal audit log has been autosaved to an external evt file. Notifying the user.

Condition productSerialNum = xxxxxxxx;productTrapData = Autosaving the CIFS audit log file (/etc/log/CIFS/adtlog.evt)

Triggered 13 May 20:04

Notified

Acknowledged No

Deleted No

I'm not sure why they started out of the blue but is there a way to stop them?

thanks.

matt

Re: make notification trap event stop

In your filers you would see the snmp traphost being set as you dfm server. You will have to delete the same.

Re: make notification trap event stop

I actually managed to make this stop by modifying the DFM event type for notification-trap-received, from "Information" to "Normal".  Now DFM will still receive traps just not tell me that it recieved a trap every time.
