Version of DOT? Is http/https running on it?

Can you try it in multiple browers?

Also, check to see if there is a different version of System Manager available that is compatible with the newer DOT version.

Re: not able to login via system manager. putty is fine

ok looks like I had tp enable tls on the filers

option tls.enable on

then it worked. is this not a good practice?

Re: not able to login via system manager. putty is fine

TLS is fine - that ensures HTTPS communication. Otherwise, you use HTTP, which is in plain text.
