I have a customer getting a message back from a filer that shows an odd entry for the nmdsk_platform and we are unable to determine where it is coming from.
<?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8' ?>
<!DOCTYPE netapp SYSTEM 'file:/etc/netapp_filer.dtd'>
<netapp nmsdk_language="C" nmsdk_platform=""You are accessing a U.S. Government x86_64" version="1.7" xmlns="http://www.netapp.com/filer/admin" nmsdk_version="5.2.2"><system-get-version/></netapp> Z]9
We believe the double quotation before the ""You are... is the culprit but we are unable to determine what machine this is coming from.
I have searched the KB's for nmsdk_platform and it is always the OS and architecture combined, but never this MOTD type entry.
Case : 2007XXXXXXXXX : P2 : Configuring Linux client | Status : Active | Hostname : | OS : 8.3: MON MAR 9 : P2 : Configuring Linux client | Status : Active | Hostname : | OS : 8.3: MON MAR 9
nmsdk_platform="SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 x86_64"
nmsdk_platform="Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard AMD64"
nmsdk_platform="Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard AMD64"
The 3 entries above seem to be what they should be and seem to be consistent.
Any thoughts on this?
I can provide the case number and more information if needed.
Thanks in advance.
