7-Mode Transition Tool (7MTT) 2.0 is GA

The 7-Mode Transition Tool V2.0 is now general availability (GA). Version 2.0 is the fifth release in the 7MTT family. The 7-Mode Transition Tool enables copy-based transitions of Data ONTAP 7G and 7-Mode FlexVol volumes and configurations to new hardware that is running either clustered Data ONTAP 8.2, 8.2.1, 8.2.2, or 8.2.3 with minimum client disruption and retention of storage efficiency options. It also supports transition of NetApp FlexVol volumes and configurations from 7-Mode NetApp MetroCluster environments. Customers running prior release candidates (RCs) are requested to update their systems to the Data ONTAP 8.3 GA release.

  • Support installation of 7MTT on Linux (CLI only)
  • Upgrading to future releases in the clustered Data ONTAP 8.3 family
  • Upgrading to a FIPS-enabled clustered Data ONTAP server
  • Option to keep 7-Mode volumes online after storage cutover

Hello, in version 2.1 of 7mtt some command line parameters are missing. I can't change "Apply configuration" and "Target Volume Mount Policy" with 'transition create' command.
