ASAP Honors FlexPod with a Win and a Finalist Spot at the 2014 Global Alliance Summit, March 2014

We’ve been racking up award wins for FlexPod excellence – Best of Tech Ed, Windows IT Pro, Server Platform of the Year and most recently in Singapore at VMware Partner Exchange 2014 in collaboration with VMware and Ingram Micro recognizing our FlexPod Express partner incentive program.

At the ASAP (Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals) Global Alliance Summit in Scottsdale, Arizona, we were both a winner and a finalist in the Individual Alliance category. (Note: NetApp Canada / Microsoft Canada were recognized as a finalist for their Canadian Alliance program).

Taking home the grand prize in the Individual Alliance Excellence category was further proof that the reason FlexPod is dominating the market by storm comes down to value – all the way along the chain – from technology distinction right through to integrated vendor support.

“Being recognized for your alliance excellence, having your name and your organization’s name brought forward and recognized for the work you do – it’s a big thing,” Michael Leonetti, ASAP President and CEO. “An ASAP Alliance Excellence Award is the most prestigious honor for business collaborators – the world’s premier award celebrating advancements in the management of strategic alliances.”

We competed in this category against some substantial competitors including Covance, Janssen Biotech, KPMG, Sanofi, SAS and Schneider Electric.

Founded in 1998, the Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals (ASAP) is a professional association formed to elevate and promote the profession and discipline of alliance management. ASAP is the only organization dedicated to providing knowledge and resources, education and professional development, and a community for networking to alliance professionals at every stage of business collaboration – from partnership formation to alliance management after a deal is signed all the way through to the dissolution of a relationship.
