As the cloud becomes an integral part of our IT operations, I have read a lot of articles about leveraging the public cloud as part of a data center strategy. What’s just as interesting, but less discussed, is the move from the public cloud into a private cloud in a data center. In our case, moving apps between clouds is an integral part of our strategy to retain control of our data and make it available where it makes the most sense, both from a cost/efficiency and usage perspective.  It’s a component in our broader Data Fabric journey that gives NetApp IT the flexibility it needs to excel at service delivery.
