Anyone know if this supports NFS datastores and/or VMFS (iSCSI/FC) datastores? When I attempt to add a Source datastore, nothing is listed even though I have VMFS datastores being used in the environnent.

vSphere 5

VSC 4

Data ONTAP 8.1.1 7-mode

Thanks.

We are having the same issue.

Vsphere 5

VSC 4.2.1

Data ONTAP 8.1.3 c-mode.

I can see everything (storage systems, hosts, guests, etc) in the other parts of VSC but I see nothing when I try to add a DS.

We currently have SRM running on 5 volumes (Datastores) between the 2 c-mode clusters and virtual centers we would like to do this simple replication on so I know all licensing etc. is in place.

This could solve a huge issue we are trying to resolve so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Andy

Hi Andy,

Remote replication is *not* supported by VSC for datastores residing on c-mode storage.

Thanks,

Brian

At this point, no.  We don't believe that this is a feature that's used all that much, so we made the tradeoff to work on other features that are more strategic.
