Why do I need the cs-ontap-dsc?

I'm trying to monitor Cloud Volumes ONTAP with CloudSecure.

I have installed Agenet using the manual here. So far, I am able to monitor Cloud Volumes ONTAP.

The above manual contains the following information
Install Docker-CE on the Agent
Using the cs-ontap-dsc

Why do I need the cs-ontap-dsc? I don't use cs-ontap-dsc now, but I can use CloudSecure without any problem.

Docker-CE on the Agent machine is not required.

The help documentation needs to be updated.

Please tell me one more thing:.I tried to register Cloud Volumes ONTAP with Data Collectors and got an error. The credentials are correct. So I added All Traffic,Source:0.0.0.0/0 to the Inbund Rule in the SecurityGroup of Cloud Volumes ONTAP.　As a result, I was able to register Cloud Volumes ONTAP to the data collector. Please let me know the correct SecurityGroup.
