HI,

Im having an issue configuring autossupport when I try to test it prompted the system will drop the messages

I also try to change the transport protocol to http/https and smtp but still I didnt received any autosupport email.

What configuration should we use for this to be enable send autosupport?

No configuration other than autosupport.mailhost and Mail recipients is needed. Please ask your mailhost admin to check whether the mail server rejects SMTP requests from your filer, or capture packets by pktt and look into it.

It depends on your mail server. You should ask mail server admin to check logs and configurations. Or capture packets by pktt and provide it to mail admins.

Also, check the default gateway by issuing route –s or route –gsn. If the gateway is incorrect, fix it by issuing

route add net mailhost ip
