The restore is attempting to use the latest snapshot as selected by the SQL administrator.

We have restored in this manner for a good amount time now but last restore attempt (again using latest snapshot) produced the error described about the "snapinfo file...'.

We have been using Snapmanager for SQL for some time and restoring/cloning a snapshot from production to a developement host with no issues. Just recently we are receiving this messages after it mounts the LUN on the target SQL host (instance). Attached is the full SQL restore log. At the top of the log file is the versioning of Windows and SMSQL we are using..

Database administrator attempted a restore from production to production (same host), it works fine.

Any ideas?

SQLUAT1]
[SQLUAT1] Unable to find the snapinfo file at path:
[SQLUAT1] S:\SQLSPSNAPS\MPDISK001\SMSQL_SnapInfo\VDISK__MountPoint-002\FG__\01-04-2016_02.01.26__Daily\SnapInfo__01-04-2016_02.01.26.sml
[SQLUAT1] Retrying to locate the snapinfo file...
[SQLUAT1] Cannot find the SnapInfo file at path:
[10:55:18.313] [SQLUAT1] S:\SQLSPSNAPS\MPDISK001\SMSQL_SnapInfo\VDISK__MountPoint-002\FG__\01-04-2016_02.01.26__Daily\SnapInfo__01-04-2016_02.01.26.sml
[SQLUAT1] Retrying to locate the snapinfo file...

[10:55:51.376] [SQLUAT1] *** SNAPMANAGER MOUNT BY RESTORE (CLONE) JOB ENDED AT: [01-04-2016 10.55.18]

[SQLUAT1] Error Code: 0xc004087c
Unable to find the snapinfo file from the mounted LUN in snapshot that contains the most recent snapinfo directory information.

let me add that production instance runs on virtual machine SQLVM01 while dev/uat instances run on SQLVM02. All supported on Windows 2012 using ISCI protocol.
