NetApp FAS2552 NetBackup 7.6 Direct Attached SAS Library

Morning All.

I am currently looking at implementing a HA FAS2552 and a direct dual path SAS attached HP Storever 2024.

I was hoping a gurn may know if the following is supported and will function as I am expecting.

The library will be dual pathed from the FAS2552 to the tape library via a single 6Gb SAS connection from each controller.

Backups will be driven by Symantec NetBackup 7.6.

All data will be served off Node one in the cluster running 8.3.2. In a failover scenario with a failover path configured in NetBackup for the other SAS connection will backups function using SVM-Scoped NDMP or Node scoped NDMP. I may even be looking into this a little too much, Also I must mention that the SVM is ISCSI providing LUNs to solaris hosts.

I am quite new to NetBackup and still attempting to get myself around it!
