    <description>&lt;P&gt;What tools does everyone use to restore files from snapshots to preserve metadata, specifically in regard to volumes with CIFS shares?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Windows Explorer certainly doesn't preserve metadata when restoring via "previous versions," and Robocopy is capable of preserving metadata, but the operations team seems to prever GUI-based processes for performing restores.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;(by the way, the label has nothing to do with this - I am not using SnapCenter, but the Community is unexpectedly rigid in its requirement to label the post and limit the available labels)&lt;/P&gt;</description>
