Hi,

I'm trying to collect the logs using the SnapGathers tool in my lab environment.

I installed SnapCenter 4.0 on Windows Server 2016 DCE. I'm using SnapGathers version 1.18.05.18 as this is the only one available on NetApp site.

After executing the command snapgathers.exe 10 from the CLI, SnapGathers collected the information about installed product and is trying to connect to SnapCenter on localhost

===

SnapCenter Server found, asking for credentials

Veryfing credentials for SnapCenter Server:NETAPP\administrator

Trying to connect to https://localhost:8146

Connection failed for the user: NETAPP\administrator

===

This user has the role SnapCenterAdmin and I'm able to log in as this user using a web browser.

Any ideas why this is not working with SnapGathers?

Thanks,

Rafal

Hello,

If you have the error when the tool tries to connect to a SVM and you use a local user of that SVM , try to enter the user as follow -> \username and password.

Cheers,

Hello Rafal,

In my case the PowerShell user-profile script caused SnapGathers not accepting Superuser credentials. Disabling user-profile script temporary before starting SnapGathers collection solved the issue.

Cheers
