Do we have to enable archive log style for Domino, if snapcreator plug-in for Lotus Domino is used for backup?

Hi,

We plan to use snap creator 3.6 and plug-in for Lotus Domino to backup our Domino version 8.0 on windows. The Domino not enable archive log yet, so we want to know that actually the archive log feature must be enabled or not? Because we already test with no archive log enable, we found Domino unable to use during snapcreator perform quiese state.

Pinyo U,

The Domino plug-in for Snap Creator does not require any logging to be enabled. It will work with any logging style or no logging enabled.

If you were unable to quiesce Domino please be sure that you completed the preinstall step. For Windows this is adding a system PATH for the Lotus Domino directory.

If you continue to receive error messages please post the log file and the configuration file.

Without the specific error message all I can do is guess at the cause of the problem.
